Orange (UK) advise that they have run out of P900 handsets and will not be receiving any more until the summer (expected June, maybe later... they have been told "not to raise customer expectations").

A quick call round no fewer than EIGHT Orange shops in London reveals the same story: zero P900's in stock, indefinitely.

Have SE stopped the P900?

Maybe they are so ashamed about its flaky Bluetooth support they are finally sorting it out...
Maybe the new owner of Symbian won't let them use the OS any more...
Maybe they got so fed up of esato users asking about 256Mb Duo's, they've just closed the factory...
Maybe the P1000 is closer than we thought...
Maybe there is a safety problem...
Maybe it is a Swedish take on the British "April Fool" and they plan to ship out hundreds of them on April 2nd...

Get one while you can.

The P900 was said to be in very high demand and Orange had problems getting stock because of that - so I was told anyway hence my three week wait for the actual P900.

I'm basing on an uneducated guess that Sony Ericsson can't keep up with demand and a little part on Orange feeling the need to create their own damn user guide and put a stupid Orange sticker on the phone and manufacturing an Orange-ised P900 box to come with it will cause a further slight delay.

se is very cautius with there P900. P800 was made very limited, P900 abit more but not enough, demand is high in most country's en supply is very low. oyea P800 is still in production, i've got 3 of them here in stock made 04 week 08! strange idd, SE should better stop P800 and make more P900

Same here in France, and especially in Paris : impossible to find a P900 (only some at very high price i.e. 900 euros). Next delivery expected end of next week (week 14).

Did they actually phone you about this? Because i have just phoned customer services and they say they still have them in stock although their ordering systems are down.

Does this mean i'd would have problems claiming a new phone if i genuinly lost mine and had to claim from my insurance?
That happened to me when i had a nk503 years ago? Orange had to give me a free upgrade! But i can't think of a phone i'd prefer to my P900??
