> T610 internal mic not working HELP!

Please help! Im new to this forum so firstly hi!
Yesterday I took my battered-looking T610 apart and replaced the cover and internal plastic housing with an aftermarket one. I thought it looked ok and all was fine. On testing the phone no one can hear me speak! I can hear others fine, the phone rings etc but seems i've bodged the small mic speaker. When I removed it I cannot remember what way around it was!!! Ive tried various combinations within its rubber housing, can anyone please help/advise me, does the back of the mic speaker directly contact the main phone internals or should the strip on the rubber act as the contact? Ive tried both but cant get it working (did before) does it have to be a particular way around? Any help would be greatly appreciated, thanks!
