> Nokia to release 40 models in 2004

Yorma Ollila, chairman of the Board in Nokia, announced company’s plans to resume its last year record and release about 40 new models of handsets. Nokia’s chief also confirmed the former course to make mobile multimedia services more available. The company has an optimistic view on the CDMA and WCDMA equipment market looking forward to the mass shift to 3G-networking throughout the world. It is expected that successful shipments of CDMA and WCDMA equipment would increase sales of Nokia Networks department, that were 14% lower last year.

I bet its not even 10 originals. Prob more copies of the 6600 and the new 76 sumfin. I say about 5 new at the most

They are going to make more Nokia fans get frustrated and regret after their phone gets outdated after only a few weeks.But somehow there's an advantage for Nokia fans, that is the price drops in weeks! cheer!
