According to the Vodafone.co.uk website the T630 has Video capture and playback is this actualy true? I thought it just had a better screen and new key layout?

no, it does not have video capture or playback. it only has minor improvements over the t610. the only new feature in the t630 is the 'MyFriends' feature which only works fully depending of your carrier provides the service.
