djpowelly's Silver and Black T300!

A Step by step guide with pictures:

1. Got the cover.. £6 from ebay.. in good condition but not OEM. It's the same as this one:

2. Went to the local hardware shop and bought some really fine wet 'n' dry, P1200 i think?!? and got some metallic silver enamel paint from the model shop a few doors down!

Heres the paint i used:

3. I masked it all up, so the paint does not leak into the bits i don't want it to!

The logo was really hard to mask up, caused a bit of trouble!

4. Rubbed it all down, wasn't very exiting really . Pictures anyway

5. Now really to paint! Gave it an even coat all round, and then left it for 15 mins....

Will update as I get on with it! Looks good at the mo though!

Unfortunaltly, it went bad , BUT... going to halfords tomorrow hopefully! Sort it out!

Why'd it turn out bad? Perhaps I can help you. Remember my gold T616? It turned out very nice, but that was probably just cause that was like my third faceplate that I painted!!!
