> Sony launching music streaming service
Bookmark topic
Here in Finland Sony will launch a new music streaming via gprs service in april. You can listen music with your px00 without loading it to your phone. You stream it via gprs to your phone "live" like a radio, but no talkin' in between (very good

. You can make your own playlists from your favorites, or you can let the server decide, you just choose a genre from several parameters. There will propably be also news available on a diffent "channel". Pricing not available yet. Service will propably be launched worldwide later. If this already "old news" to you and discussed in another thread (thou I didn't find any in a quick search) you can kill this message

i think that as soon as more providers embrace audio streaming, it will really make data services a lot more popular: nowadays most ppl will just look dumbly at you if you mention internet and cell phone in the same sentence!

And GPRS wil soon be cloged with audio data and wont be fast enough for emial, browsing or anything else and we really will need a faster wirreles internet service.
Oh I'm in such a dull mood...
