i reported my phone lost about 2 months ago and now i found it again, i phoned tmobile to ask them to unlock it but they wanna charge me an arm and a leg to get it unblocked is there a way i can unblock it?

No it is blocked by the network not on the phone it's self but when it logs on.

really, they just said... oh no problem, just pay us and we will unblock it huh? I really doubt it... if its your phone and you can prove it, there is no or a small fee to get that done. If they have replaced the phone under insurance, then its either a "no", or pay the retail price of the phone they gave you. its not like they want to lose out on that, why give you a free phone?
on another note if you lets say... and I'm not saying you did. Hypothetically speaking... found the phone or stole the phone but unfortunately its barred now, too bad for you. cuz you cant change that, and we aren't about to tell you how.

just get ur reciept and original box with instructions and stuff, take it to em...thats enuff proof that its urs. They should unblock it...depends on where u go though
