First of all, yes I have used the search and found similar predicaments such as Naar's a while ago, but all of these end with the person sending their p800 away.

Anyway, I haven't been too good with managing the memory of my P800, so it's usually quite full, and my MS Duo 16 MB that came witht he phone is also full. So one day I am taking pictures with my phone, and suddenly one picture in particular takes a VERY VERY long time to save, like it just freezes on the save screen. So anyway, I leave it in my pocket and I take it out later and lo and behold it has saved. So i go to My Pictures, and I get the same strange problem, it take forever to load the pictures! So i leave it in my pocket and wait. Its finally loaded the pictures, but its frozen on the screen! or its taking a very very long time to register anything. So i take out the battery. I put it back in, and the phone loads up fine, but freezes at the Sony Ericsson logo! Argh! I'm thinking this is because of memory, but I'm not sure, what should I do? Anything I can do from the luxary of my home? And i have tried turning it on without the MS Duo inside, or maybe i should empty the duo than try again?!?!?!

Yep, sounds like you will need to take it/or mail it to a SE service centre. Be advised that usually what they do is re-flash the phone with firmware again. so that it is in "new" state. You will lose everything you have saved on there. At least that what I have heard, anybody else experience this and come out ok, please do share your experiences.

try to take out the memory card (after you switched off the phone of course) then restart the phone. happened once with mine and this fix the freeze right away. if the start-up goes well i think you should free up some memory then.....hope this help

Memory full... it's quite obvious and a little bit your fault too.
You will need to go flash your phone in a SE center, and maybe buy a bigger MSduo.
