i've checked SE website about T610 and it says T610 only support cHTML..if i upgrade my firmware to the latest 1, can my phone support xHTML? if i upgrade firmware, what happened to all my contactlist?

It is possible that a SHOP is not at the same time a 'service point' (=repair centre) however you couldv'e asked them where the nearest service point is.
Or call
in your country and aks where the nearest one is.
