Just looking at the SAR declaration for the SE Z1010 and found it to be one of the highest values I have seen for a long while. It has a max rating at the ear of 1.41W/kg (10g), though this is below the reccommended limit of 2.00W/kg (10g), it is very high. Check this link;

I am not sure if there is any link to this and headaches, but I do remember that my trusty old T28 had a high SAR value and did cause more discomfort than most phones when used at the ear. The Nokia 6150 & 6210 and SE T68i & T610 I have owned since have caused me no problems!!!
What do you say?

It's true that 3G phones have a higher SAR rating compared to GSM phones. TNO (a Dutch research center) made a study about it an concluded that the higher SAR ratings could possibly (nothing is for certain) have an infuence on humans.
There will propably be another study stating the complete opposite but, I wonder what it would be like to have a UMTS transmitter on top of the building you live in............
