Lets make a survey: how many of you here,when it comes to buying new phones,are paying from their own pocket and how many is using other people's money(parents, relatives) to buy a new phone? [edit] i assume for the moment that you're only effectuvely looking at kids though

as I doubt my parents would buy me a new phone (or any other relatives for that matter) and it seems you have not included the possibility many adults use: a phone paid fro by the company. so praps you may strike my vote as not representing your target group?

I found could only afford a decent phone if it was on contract-got my first t68 for free on contract, as well as my z600. Tough paying monthly bill as student tho.
