I have set my T68 for email on 1 Btinternet account, and 2 talk21 accounts (in UK). I can recieve email, but cannot send/reply. Any suggestions?
My settings are:

Connect using: BTinternet :-

Phone number: 08457560000
User id: myid@btinternet.com
Password: mypassword
Password request: Off
Data rate: 9.6 kbits/s
Dial type: ISDN
DNS address: 194.73.73.94

POP3 server: mail.btinternet.com
POP3 port: 110
Mailbox: myemailaddress@btinternet.com
Password: myemailpassword
SMTP server: mail.btinternet.com
SMTP port: 25
Email address: myemailaddress@btinternet.com
From name: My Name
Signature: no signature
Copy outgoing: Off
Check interval: Off

Any ideas guys?
My sony J70 works fine with this information to send and recieve.

First setup a new data account as "BTinternet", do this by going right with joystick and press 8 then 5 then 1. Select "add account", select "GSM data" under "Name:" enter BTinternet. For "Phone no:" enter 08457560000. "user id:" enter your username for your btinternet dial-up account if you use btinternet for your internet connection, if not register an account with them. "password:" enter your dial-up account password. Then "save" You should now have "BTinternet in your "data accounts" menu. Now select "BTinternet" then select "edit".
Ignore editing "phone number", "user id", and "password". Go to "password request" set to off. "data rate" set to 9.6 kbits/s. "dial type" set as analogue". "dns address" enter 197.73.73.94 and that is your dial-up ready. Go back to stand-by screen, then joystick right. Press 2 then 4 then 3 then 2. Select "add new" if you have nothing set for email, if you have tried setting email for btinternet, highlight this account and press "yes" button. Set as follows:-

Connect using: BTinternet
Pop3 server: 194.73.73.90
Pop3 port: 110
Mailbox: your email address (eg: joebloggs@btinternet.com)
Password: your email password
SMTP server: 194.73.73.90
SMTP port: 25
Email address: your email address again
From name: Your Name (optional)
Signature: your choice of "no signature" or "use business card"
Copy outgoing: off (my preferred setting)
Check interval: off (my preferred setting again)

Hope this helps. Let me know how it goes.

JohnM, i would like to remind you that the T68m does not support authenticated SMTP. so if the mail server requires SMTP authentication, you can't send/reply.

Make sure that the POP and SMTP servers for Genie are still correct and working as they are in the process of changing over to "o2" POP and SMTP servers - this will also mean that your email address @genie.co.uk will change to @o2.co.uk.

Currently, I can get both to work.
