Greetings again!

I've developed an animated GIF file but as a background it doesn't want to animate itself. Is there a way around this? Probably not but it's worth asking I suppose.

I located this sometime ago but can't remember exactly where. It worked on my P800 and I currently have it up and running on my P900, enjoy.

That "cogs pic" is a default screensaver that comes with the P900. U can use it flip closed (or open) as a _screensaver_, but I haven't had any joy setting it as a background. I doubt u can tbh

The key to creating animated gif for the P900's background in flip closed mode is:

1. not more than 50 frames
2. not more than 500k in size
3. small resolution of 160 x 120 should be fine

If you can keep with the above 3 criterias, your animated gif will work in flip closed mode as a backfround. I don't understand why, but the P900 will extract all frames first before applying the the gif file, that's why the 500k file will end up eating 1.5 - 2 mb of your precious active RAM (not C: drive, it's active memory as some may call it).
