Just found Sman listed on
www.handango.com under new applications, It doesn't have version number, but from the screen shots it looks like a new version.
And it's not free any more, you could download it for $5.00.

SMan 1.3 beta was released on March 19.

so you if you choose to buy it from handango you are make a donation, presumably to the ajack and co. sounds fair enough to me for all that you get!

And i see NO difference between the 2 pictures, one on Handago and the other on the site.
Seems for me that the one on Handago the 1.3 version is.

If this is what the final version of SMan v1.3 is gonna look like, then i'm really disappointed. With these features added :
* Added Network Cell Id.
* Added a DTMF dialer.
* Added a TTF System Font manager.
* Enhanced File Manager with smarter menus, file search and hex editor.
There seems to be no changes in the interface. I guess the wait wasn't what we expected to see. Ajack & droll please try working more on looks, but quality is amazing no doubt.

For you information, SMan has changed quite a bit since I released the sneak peek pictures two weeks ago. It'll be released when it's ready. No need to be disappointed with SMan.
Just use v1.2c until v1.3 gets released, then you should sit down, write down all the features SMan has, find on the internet all the other applications that have the same features as SMan, list down how much they costs and if you are happy to pay for the application, go ahead.
The objective of SMan has not changed, release something small, with lots of features, give it away for free, then release the source codes for others to look, and study.
Some things, others do better than SMan, some things we do better, all others only we do.

If you like SMan v1.2c and appreciate our efforts and time writing and supporting SMan, you can donate some money to us via the handango website.
Go there, use search button to select "Symbian OS" and keyword "droll" and you will find SMan, each "copy" costs USD 5, buy as many copies as you think SMan deserve.

I'm a big fan of Sman the way it is in 1.2c. Infact I don't even run tracker on my P900 anymore because of it. For me, it's simplicity was it's main virtue: I use it occasionally for bluejacking when I'm feeling bored in uni, and a lot for closing down applications. The whole visual thing is unimportant to me, and I don't see what the big fuss is. I thought that's why people bought tracker?!
