HiAll,
I use a SE T310(modem same as T68i).No problem in wap surfing using Hutch GPRS on the phone.have been trying to do the same using my Plam Zire71.Downloaded the software for this but cannot understand
settings.
Subscribe to Rs 99/month MMs and wap browsing package.
Your assistance greatly appreciated.

almost certainly you won't be able to browse the internet from your palm using a WAP connection, you need a GPRS "internet" connection (this is different from GPRS WAP) to browse the internet from a pda or pc through your phone

Hello all once again,
Many thanks for the tip(s).Seems the trick is to get the internet package for web browsing(HTML).
Have downloaded 2 applications for the Plam i.e.one for WAP browsing and the other for WEB browsing.(HTML)
Can understand for WEB need internet package BUT for WAP shouldnt
the WAP package work?Maybe the port nos in the settings are not matching with gprs settings/application?
Advantage is the Plam has a bigger screen.

Great hearing from all you guys!!
clarifications to all points as below:
- for WEB download - visit www.webtogoeurope.com.This is a fantastic
application,provided you know how to use it!
- for WAP-I think it is wapuniverse.com.OR log onto www.palmgear.com,categories,wirless,internet and select from the listing.Another super site is www.cellular.com.Check this out.
-Gforce is correct- 310 can be used as a Modem and has IR.
By the way what exactly is www package?
Palm Zire 71 has IR and inbuilt camera.what I do is upload pictures taken with it to the 310 via IR.Also you can download any picture from the web using your PC,transfer it to the Zire and then upload to the 310 via IR.No cables etc required.

The WWW package referred is the Rs.499 service that hutch is offering and its called the HutchConnect.
