> Z1010 shipping to UK mid April

Apologies if this isn't new news and bearing in mind it could delay still....a Sony Ericsson advisor said to me that the Z1010 would be shipping mid April and be on 3, however, he stated that it would probably have a 3 sim inserted aka Nokia 7600 at the Carphone Warehouse rather than officially be 3g.

Shame, I've just upgraded to a p900....
PS in my opinion 3 still have some way to got before becoming a decent company. I've had a 3 NEC 606 since March 2003 (which I don't have to pay for thank god) and I've never had so much grief from a phone or network in my life. 3G coverage is erratic at best and my record is four dropped calls in the space of 10 minutes. Also whoever devised their launch strategy should be shot. Walled Garden Conent!?!?!? Hello anyone home. I don't give a stuff about football clips, I want to be able to do my banking and send MY OWN EMAIL mostly.
It's a damning indication that I still mostly use my P800 on Orange, which I have to pay for, rather than my totally free gratis 3 phone....
Give it another year and some competition and they may not be quite so shit.

Where'd u get ur info from exactly, as in a SE per or over the phone? The ones at customer service or "technical support" are hopeless and unreliable at best! I can't get 3 anyway. But z600 overhyped or overrated? Please - everybody knows its a clamshell t610 with a better screen!

Yes, I did get the info from SE Customer Services, on previous occasions they haven't been able to say anything. I know it could be useless info but its going to be released sooner or later so maybe ?
In terms of 3, the network is unstable, customer service is *@#! but the tariff is good and although the Z1010 has been known since Feb '03 it's still better than the other handsets..well I think so.
