I was so happy today, I was going to the shop to buy (preorder) Z1010, (In Telia sweden they sell it with a 3G simcard but you only get the card and the phones come later)
And I say the dummy phone, and when they handed it to me I really didn't know what to think, I lost my mind, I was soo happy cause I really wanted 3G and I didn't want to get it with other phones than SE....
Z1010 is deffinetly the uggliest phones SE made, all other models from SE are good and I think in overall SE has the best phones and design.. But Z1010 is a phone I will be proud not to own...
So I got home without a phone cause I dont like other brands.. and now I am waiting for the next 3G phone from SE.. HOW long will I wait now!?!?
I really really want 3G...
Any rumours about more 3G phones from SE? Anyone please? give me a purpose to live

Even if the spec are the best I can't walk with a so ugly phone.. I dont mind it being big, I really think its purely ugly.. There is no design thoughts in Z1010..
To bad S700 isn't a 3G phone, then I would have a hope.
Why why why
And why dont just use the Japanese SE phones here in Europe??? They are already 3G!
Is there any licinsing problem or they never even thought the idea of using the japanese phones?
If SE sold there japanese models here in europe they would be number one in all stores!!!

Think its acceptable, but not in red. A new design is always weird at the first sight, just think t68m.

well if you want a phone
primarily for it's looks then why bother with a 3G phone...
As for Japanese phones... they wouldn't work on our network

so they'd need a thorough revision.. something like the current S700 which looks as if based ona japanese phone..... I think it's probably not a fully eveloppe stage though... 'transferring japanese-market-only phones to 'world-market' phones'... you gotta remember that some of those designs are simply too fancy for the average customer

@vlammetje wise words ;-) however, its not easy to fit look and inside features aswell for each single customer.

I did test the real thing earlier this day and I was pleased with it.
I really liked it and was amazed how light it felt consider how big it is compared to normal GSM clamshells.
The menu structure is the best I have used, and it did not only look good, it responded rapidly on my commands as well.
I don't think this one is ugly at all...
It is in my opinion by far the best looking 3G handset.
Go and hide all Nokia handsets.
