Here we have a quick gallery of Sagem's first attempt at an iMode phone for Europe, the SG321i. This device uses a slider design not unlike that of the diminutive Siemens SL55. The SG321i, though, is significantly larger, sporting a much larger display. The keypad of the SG321i actually shares more in common with the SL55's older brother, the S55, than it does with the Siemens slider.

The design seemed to work well overall, but didn't seem to inspire any stares or anything. Somehow it just didn't seem to attract any attention from people, in spite of the sliding keypad mechanism. We'll have to see how it does when it finally reaches the market in Europe later this year.

in the EU there are +- 3 000 000 I-mode users i'm one of them. using my P800 that is
and since my P800 supports html i can use my I-mode account to surf the easto forums. i pay 7euro for 20MB which makes it 4 times cheaper then any other GPRS deal in this country

i think sagem is also lauching a slidephone like the SL55. the design is very similar.

i find sagem phones ok, but not good enough to buy, there still got a long way to go.
