You could turn off the phone and and then turn it on again which will recoup all the memory. Alternatively you could download SMAN from handango and use it to close the unwanted applications and to close messages. Hope this helps.
PS: I remember soemone else asking this earlier to you, Why are you using a Nokia to browse the forum when you have a P900?
