Hi All

I have spent the last 2 days searching for the best deal for a p900

I found to get this FREE you need to signup to a £75 per month contract and the plan cannot be changed/downgraded for 120 days with orange.

This means that the phone costs in total £75 x 3 = £225
Plus the remaining 9 months on a minimum contract of say £15 = £135

Total £360 which is cheaper than buying the phone outright (about £500) and it includes the calls.

Now here’s where I got lucky;

I was trying to order from the many sites available on the net but none had the phone in stock,

I then rang orange direct and got the phone for £79.95 on a £50 a month plan and I can downgrade anytime without penalty.

This means that the phone costs in total £80 + £50 = £130
Plus the remaining 11 months on a minimum contract of say £15 = £165
Total £295

Second hand p900’s sell for £400 on ebay

Just thought this information might be of use to someone who is thinking of getting a new phone on contract.

It's a pity we don't have the contract system in my country. This message was posted from a WAP device

thats a good offer. orange seem to be the cheapest at the moment. I bought mine off them for £130 but also got 1/2 price line rental for the first 6 months, talk 400 for £25 instead of £50. but it was a business account and that also means free insurance and voicemail retrieval. And just to dig it in further the money i paid for the phone is going to be paid back by the tax man anyway as i only bought it due to the new law in the UK banning mobile phone calls while driving. obviously the only solution to this problem was to buy a p900 and hbh-200 headset (money back on that too).

I got my P900 free on the £75 per month contact. Downgraded to £15 per month, the following day

So my total cost is

£75 + £110 = £185

Before you ask the £110 is High Speed Data traiff, £10 per month.

The Link don't do claw-back.

High Speed Data tariff £10 per month
Mmm! I am going to tale a look at that.

Also, I only ordered yesterday and think the 6 months at half price might be worth a further enquiry, thanks.

Orange are not doing any free deals for this phone at the moment even for businesses/Ltd companies

Best wishes
