> can I remove metal piece from cover?

I've ordered 2 non-original covers recently and I was wondering if it's possible to remove the metal piece around the T68 screen and put them on the new cover. The non-original cover doesn't have the letters "Ericsson" carved but printed on it instead. so I like my the metal piece from my grey cover more. can someone help?

I believe the frontcover is in 2 pieces,..upper and lower,..so YES,..you should be able to do this

Just to confirm that the aftermarket covers are all in 1 piece only, and not possible to split as the the LCD surround is plastic and not metal as in the original ones. Still they look good though eh!!
I got a silver one for mine, not fitted it yet as they dont come with the little infrared covers and I dont wanna break the one off me gold cover
