> Mobile phone top-ups from cash machines

You can now buy credit at the hole in the wall.
Royal Bank of Scotland and NatWest have launched a new service, allowing mobile phone owners to top-up their credit at cash machines. All the major networks including Orange, Vodafone, 02, T-Mobile and Virgin Mobile are involved in the scheme.
RBS and NatWest customers will now see an extra top-up option when they insert their card into machines. They then have to enter their mobile phone number and select the amount they wish to add (between £10 and £50) to their phone credit. Other banks who have signed up for the scheme include One, Co-operative Bank, Coutts and Adam and Co.
This is not the first time such a service has been available however, as Abbey launched a similar scheme a couple of years ago for Orange phone owners to use its cash machines to top-up their accounts.
