E-bay's not the only place, but it's one of the biggest chances you'll have of finding it. As for your warranty, if you even take your faceplate off, you've invalidated your warranty (if they found out, that is).

oh ok, and how could they find out ??

cuz if i were to like send the phone in for service or anything i could just switch back to the regular faceplate that came with it..

Sorry, that's not my piece of cake (I'm into flashing/unlocking/unbranding). I really not sure how they'd know. Be careful.

The T226 does have faceplates for the phone. I bought one from a local dealer here in california. The only thing is that mine could not be changed. If you have the Cingular phone, the faceplate wont come off. The guy at the shop said the ATT wireless one should come off though. He said that it just pops right off. So i found some here, and you can also look on ebay, they have some. So if you have the cingular version, dont buy a faceplate because it wont work.

Oh yes. SONY Ericsson is going to spend a couple hundred dollars because Cingular doesn't want the faceplates removed, because they're so sadictive that they don't want their users to be able to remove the faceplates. In fact, they want to screw their own service technician so they can't remove it easily either.

Use your head, dude, the only difference between the Cingular and the AT&T phones is the branding on the phones. Yeesh, some people are so gullible.
