Hi there,
I have a Sony Ericsson Z600 and i am having problems with it. SOmething happened to it last night to make the camera button on the side and the four buttons (return key, clear key and the other two) to stop working. I can only use the keypad in the middle.
Does anyone know what i have done or how to get it back to normal?

if its a hardware fault then it will need to be returned to a service centre but if we look at software first. While the phone is on try removing the battery and the reinsert after several seconds as several
support people have told me this performs a soft reset. When you power on you should see an hourglass for a while as it does the soft reset.
if that does not work try a master reset
if that does not work I can't think of anything else so unless anyone else can I'd suggest the servic centre option

You sure there isn't just kind of locking feature on these keys? as the volume buttons work its just the camera button on the side and the four buttons mentioned above in my first post

no, the only key lock is the full keypad lock and you would know if it was that as it display a message on how to unlock the keypad when you press any button

Nope its gone again - i wonder if its something im doing wrong as im used to Nokia's.
It seems to lock the keys when i go wrong in a text message and the languages menu pops up and locks keys out.
Not sure what to do

It has done this to me 3 times now and its always when im writing a text message, im wondering if i am pressing somethign i shouldn't when writing a text as the dictionary thing pops up asking if its English - Standard ABC or 123 and then the other keys stop working
this is getting rather annoying now - has anyone experienced this at all?
