> Wrong unlocking code Worldmate
Bookmark topic
I've just bought the programm Worldmate.
They send me an email with a unlocking code with five digits.
When I enter it the program told me " Code is incorrect".
I've sent them a mail and ask for a new code or an other solution but they did not yet answered.
Anybody has got the same problems?
Anybody has a solution?
Best regards.

my worldmate registration code is 5 digits also and I guess you have taken the only action that you can.
perhaps you supplied an incorrect IMEI originally?

Did they tell you to delete the last two digits of the IMEI code? I think you should delete only the last one digit. If I remember correctly thats what I did for all of the softwares I have bought. Try this and see whether it works and let us know

no, its definitly the last two digits you ignore. I remember very well and also IMEI is 15 digits but SE add the last 2 for their own use
edit: also I just found the cut and paste save I did of what I sent

I also bought Handy tools 2004 and I gave the same imei.
So I think the imei is correct.

I stand corrected. I presume I should always double check before posting something from memory.
EDIT: @Masseur did you mean the cut and paste save of the IMEI?

Just received email from Handango.
They asked me to give my imei again so they can make a new unlocking code.
Keep you informed.

I always cut and paste into a file, or do a File - save as in IE, of any page/email etc that I use for registering stuff, and always save the registration messages that come back too.
Its a good habit to get into for when you get problems like the one in this thread.
