I still cant figure out how to lock the keypad... do any of you know how? please lemme know. Thanks sooooo much. and im sorry if Im askin such a stupid question. thx

there is a keypad lock if you go to control panel, locks
or there is a full lock which requires your phone lock code to be entered if you go to control panel, display, screen. In there choose a screen saver and timeout and then tick the Screen saver device lock box

dont you just click the key to the right had side of the C key (the menu key) and press 1 then to unlock it just press OK followed by *

you can manually lock it the way smellywelly says but the trick with the auto keypad lock is to not unlock the keypad manually, but instead just open the flip which uato unlocks too. then just close the flip and it will auto lock the keypad.
if you manually unlock the keypad then it takes some time before the keypad lock is automatically activated again, about 20 seconds or so
edit: aha! you are plugged into power! you don't get keyboard lock while plugged into power

Another Question....
When I go to the SMS portion of the messaging and select a recipient from the phonebook... and click ok... It displays their Number and then half or whatever can fit... of their names... is there a way I can make it show only the name? or name first? sorry for askin such a noob question. thanks in advanced for reply... Im new here btw...
