Using O2-UK GPRS, can I surf the real internet (and use msn messenger) on the pc with a IrDA connection? I have the

modem scripts and am waiting on the postage of my IrDA adapter! So...?
Thanks in advance!

Well you're a tiny bit late since free gprs ends mid april. But when it does come just remember to put 193.113.200.195 into your browsers proxy boxes(mainly the http one) and 80 or 8080 into the port any next to it. Can't help you with scripts etc, i use a mac.

So did i, but call 2202 choose option 1(free call) and it tells you charges of approx 2 pence a page starts mid april, works out at 2.35 a meg or you can buy 5 meg for 4 quid. That would burn fast if you used it on a pc though, really fast. So make the most of the freeness. I know i will. Dial up should be *99***1# when you get your ir sorted, user is payandgo password is password.

You mean gsm? 915000 is the dial up for that, should be the same user and password. But disable all proxies for that or you won't be able to use cookies. You don't need the proxy on dial up.
