Ive just called CPW in Leicester (SC) and a very nice young lady told me that they HAVE received the s/w upgrade this morning...
BUT....
Its faulty so they cannot use it. The have spoke to
and they will get a replacement end of this month. Its something to do with the upgrade wiping the wap settings or something... an excuse?? dunno..
So guys.. looks like weve been stuffed AGAIN
Oh well... Wheres mt bottle of Vodka??

Who cares if it wipes wap settings, just use the configerator on SE website again
Just tell them u want it whatever and refuse to leave without it

bazboy, i just spoke with
philippines earlier and they said uero version is out (so your sp is telling the truth) ahead of asia. we will get it though anytime from tomorrow. could it be the equipment used by your sp? our sp here needed to upgrade their equipment specifically for this firmware upgrade.

yeah could do, but im at work and i called them from here!! I didnt wanna go down there and wait all dau for them to try it out!! Mind you, i could volunteer my T68m to be a guinea pig thing!!

I went to the SE here in Beirut,I talked with upgrade center guy and that's the report:

o you have the new upgrade for t68?
SE:you mean the one which should be released this week?
Me : Yes,the one which convert a t68 to t68i
SE:well it will be out at any time from tomorrow till next monday
Me:next monday?
SE:yes,because friday here we have holidays!!!
Me:how much time will the operation need?
SE:about 30 min
Me:so it should be out maximum next monday!
Se:yes,we will get it later than other countries because of some modification on languages ,networks,etc...
So are you convinced?
