How do you prevent the phone from switching off its screen light whilst it is running software ? If you are moving a large file to the memory stick it just turns the light off whilst it is doing it ! I know you want it to do it when the phones not active but when it is is daft.

Or you could open control panel and in "displays" tab "power" set the light to ON instead of AUTO
probably a good idea to reset it after you're done tho or you'll use up your battery pretty quick
