Hi im having some problems geting some of my dvd's on to my phone how do you convetr dvd to mp4 format.
I tryed to convet it using direct mp4 maker and it conveted it but it didnot play on my phone.

well i don't do this really often but if i remember correctly you should first convert your dvd to a recognizable format (like avi or mpg for instance) and then you can convert it to a mp4 with a less resolution..
atleast that's the case with packet video i don't know which program you are using....

Go here and download a trial version of #1DVDRipper:
http://www.snapfiles.com/get/1dvdripper.html
This will help you backup your DVD into a recognizable format like .avi or .mpg.
You then need to use either one of the program below to convert into a format that is recognizable by your P900:
Mpegable
Sorenson
pvAuthor
SmartMovie
If you don't know where to get these softwares, do a search on google. Hope that helps.

use smart movie with the 3ivx video encoder, it is awesome. i got a 700mb film down to 57mb, full screen and almost perfect quality it is so much better than the mp4 format. (get you 3 copy from my user group)
