> P900 Music Skipping?

Hey!
I only just got my P900 on Orange on Tuesday after selling my P800. I'm beginning to notice that the music does skip quite a lot, not only when you use other programs (this happened on my P800 too) but when you lock the phone and do nothing. Is this normal? Could it be due to the fact that I'm using a white 128mb Memory Stick Duo? Anyone else experiencing this problem?

if it does skip it could mean you are running low on memory.
The phone does a little check (i think), and if you have low memory, it's perfectly normal for your song to Jump.

my skip a bit whenever it goes into screen saver which i set at 1 minute.
however it does not if i do not use an animated screen saver (when it goes straight to a blank screen).

One of my oggs, namely "london dungeon" by the misfits, skips every time at the same part of the song. its not an error which occurred during the cd ripping, cos it was playing fine with no skips a few weeks ago. Darned if i can figure this one out....

I have this problem too, and I find it very annoying! I'm going to try to free some memory, hope that it's works, because sometimes it "jumps" up tre times a song and that can be really irritating!

this happened me once or twice on my p800, i have a white 128mb duo but i don't think its the problem. i think the others are right, it could be due to the fact you are running low on memory, all i done was switched off the phone and turned it back on again and the skipping stopped. hope its as simple for you.
