Uhm... it's early I know but:

S700
The S700 is the first megapixel camera phone from Sony Ericsson. In fact, you could easily mistake it as a digital camera from the back. Hold it sideways and you're using a 1.3 megapixel digital camera with a 262,144 colour TFT screen for viewing your photos. Swivel it open and your camera becomes a high-specification mobile phone, games machine, MP3 player, and web browser. The S700 also gives you a range of connectivity options, enabling you to send and receive still images, moving images, text and sound. Is it a well-connected camera or a well-specified mobile phone? You choose.

in my experience
phones have rarely been available prior to their announced availability wich in the case of the S700 is
Q4 2004 so why do people want to pay attention to what Carphone Warehouse say? again, in my experience, they haven't got a clue!
