My phone turns off by itself, and the meesage said something about enhacing performance, or something like that. First time that that has happed to me in the four months that I have had my phone. Is this common. Is this yet another problem that I must accept, especially since installing R4A06?

Its a system crash. It happens periodically and you cant do too much about it. The p900 reboots itself as a result, but on the p800, a crash would invoke the infamous "triangle of death".
Dont worry it happens from time to time.

i wish mine would reboot itself. if i write a text and finisg it with ... , it just hangs and i have to take the battery out. any ideas ?
