Does anyone know when and indeed if the Z1010 will be released on Vodafone in the UK? and of course my favourite SE subject, what voice control / dialing system does it use T phone family or P phone family?

I personally think Z1010 will not be released on the Vodafone network until they actually activate (I am saying activate as they have already launched the 3G network with the Data Card) their 3G network service in May.
But I am guessing that the Z1010 should be available to purchase offline in 2nd or 3rd week of this month.

In line with riflogic, I have heard the phone will be available in the UK 2nd/3rd week of April, ie after Easter, but frankly it is anyone's guess. Vodafone are basing their tests on other manufacturers phones as far as I have heard. As for 3, some say they have tested, with some saying it passed and some saying it failed. Others say it is still in testing, but I think the reality will be that the phone will be launched on the basis of the 7600 as the z1010 doesn't have GPS, one of the special features of 3. Wait will April 13 and then see...
