If your cable is USB, you need software driver for it, which should come with your cable or be available from the manufacturer's website. No driver is needed for a serial cable.
With Float's Mobile agent, no other additional software is required.

Hey.
I have a T230 and i recently got the DCU-11 USB Cable.....uhh...ok i tried to connect it but its not working! I installd the drivers...and (in windows XP) i go to device manager....and it IS listed there (C0M4) so its not a prob wit the drivers i guess. But its not detected by SE Phone Monitor Options or even SE Image Editor. And talk abt fMA....it isnt detected by that either.
HAAAAAAAAALP!
thnx in advance!

For the T230 phone, you should try setting the COM port speed to 9600 under device manager. If you are using FMA, I believe there's an option in there to set the speed to 9600.
The driver of the cable should be obtained from the cable's manufacturer.
