I think you have you pair the device with your macs modem using the bluetooth exchange application... or was it the blue tooth setup assistant?

Anyway you can find both in your Applications/Utilities folder.

Even better.... download the first PDF from this web page, it should help you out?

Apple Bluetooth
This document provides information on how to pair your Macintosh with a Bluetooth-enabled mobile phone and connect to the Internet and exchange files between Bluetooth-enabled devices.

Yayy!! I managed to get it working!!

steps I took were:
1) ensure the Mac and Phone are paired (BlueTooth menu)
2) Download the Sony Ericsson scripts from http://www.taniwha.org.uk
3) Copy the srcipt over to SYSTEM:LIBRARY:MODEM:SCRIPTS
4) System Preferences -> Network -> Show BlueTooth
5) Selelct BlueTooth Modem and choose a one of the downloaded scripts
6) Choose PPP and give the connection a name [I am on Orange UK, so I chose Orange GPRS]
7) instead of a telephone number you have to type in an 'APN', the one I was given by Orange was orangeinternet
press apply now
9) Open Internet Connect, click BlueTooth and select the connection you created in the PPP menu
10) you should now be able to connect

I am posting this using the aboev now....nice
