Just wondering if anyone else has this problem it has happened to me a few times.
I went to bed last night and the battery was about 90% full. I put the phone into Flight mode so that the alarm would sound this morning. about 4 o`clock this morning I was awoken by the phone give a low batt warning and turning off.
This is really starting to get on my t1ts, I love the P900 but if it keeps doing this I will be selling it!

there should be some applications that are still running which caused this sudden drain, or you might have a faulty battery, don't give up on this phone as it's still the best available in the market... just try to find a solution

If you are a heavy user of applications, then most applications you use may still be running, you need to close them coz they use up significant processing power and hence, more battery.

Try using programs like Sman for example, its an excellent program with a lot of great features! Download it for free @ www.my-symbian.com.

It will perform the task closing procedure and will save those valuble charges of your battery! Get it, its a gaurentee!!

I use sman to flush any un-used programs,
I was being a bit hasty when I said about getting rid of it, I had the flip removed over the weekend I found it a right twa* to use so have been quite wound up by the phone.
But I do remember the first time it happened escummv was running in the back ground.

I will see what happens tonight and keep ya posted

I've had similar problems.. my P800 usually will last 3 or 4 days without charging, but sometimes (not too often) it doesn't last the day. It doesn't have anything to do with running apps since i rebooted and it kept draining. The only thing i could do to fix it was plug it in again.

I bet the phone thinks its done charging before it really is.. i dunno why. Fortunately its only happened like 3 or 4 times in the 8 months i've had my phone.

I've had similar problems with my P800 a couple of times. In my case it seems to only happen when the phone is very short of internal memory, so a simple cure for me is to free up some space on the C drive, usually by transferring stuff to the memory card or my PC, or by deleting some pictures. One important point about this, when my phone started having very fast drain because of low memory it usually crashed & reformatted itself a few days later, so if it ever starts doing it now I make sure I free up space straight away
