> Sony Ericsson signs deal with CinemaElectric

Sony Ericsson and CinemaElectric signed a deal to release PocketCinema multimedia content to mobile users in Europe, Africa, and the Middle East.
The deal includes all current CinemaElectric's PocketCinema(TM) video and graphics content collections including ACTION SPORTS (extreme sports), ELECTRIC CATWALK (fashion and models) and MOVIE MESSAGES (greetings). PocketCinema(TM) is a downloadable motion picture that can be played on advanced Sony Ericsson mobile phones such as the P900, P800 and new K-700. PocketCinema(TM) greeting videos shall be made available in English, German, French, Spanish and Italian. Graphic downloads will also be offered in six lifestyle categories including wallpapers and screensavers custom formatted for Sony Ericsson handsets by CinemaElectric artists. The video files are compacted to less than 90 kb by CinemaElectric's Dense Media Format(TM) technology for delivery via WAP or MMS.
CinemaElectric is said to own the world's largest library of multimedia and video contents specifically made for mobile phones. The downloads are available through Sony Ericsson's Fun and Download website.
