I once saw what appeared to be a program for composing sms messages with which one could edit the sender etc.
Is this possible, do sms messages, like e-mails, rely on the sender to provide their number or was this in fact a fake program.

There are several programs out there that allow you send sms's & change the sender no. so you can really play with peoples headz. They also let you send flash sms's which dont need 2be opened & appear straight on the recievers screen. The only down side is you need 2 purchase credits off the sites they run off 2 send then but even with this the standard cost is still lower than ur usual cost. l think the apps called zodiac or somthing & theres another one too, check out my-symbian l've seen em on there.

iSMS does the same thing too.
Although it would be MUCH better if it could actually interface to your contacts instead of requiring you to type a number in from memory.
