okay i am NOT sure if this has been covered yet, i DID use the search function on the page and did NOT find it..
if you are reading this is either one of these options:
a) you are here to flame
b) you wanna know about T226 games too
c) you know the answer to my question (which is..)
I have tried several different sites, but all of them were "java" games (.jar i think).. when i try downloading them it says there's omething wrong with the link and im like WTF!.. so.. does anyone know either what file type are the games on T226, or/and where can i get FREE apps/games for the phone???

Don't know the T226 but if you are hosting the games be sure to have the correct MIME types and some operators have a download limit per file ( well I think from what I saw in past posts )

Mime Types represent file types as presented to your web browser. Without them your browser wouldn't recognize the files.
For some servers you have to add manually some MIME types, like mine ( although there are 500 MIME types installed ). I made a .htaccess files in the root directory of the server with this information:

AddType text/x-vCard .vcf
AddType text/x-vNote .vnt
AddType text/x-vmel .mel

AddType text/vnd.wap.wmlscript wmls
AddType application/vnd.wap.wmlc wmlc
AddType application/vnd.wap.wmlscriptc wmlscriptc
AddType image/vnd.wap.wbmp wbmp
See the extensions at the end. Anyway if you have some problem I can have a look to where you are downloading.
