hi,
i am trying to change my startup/shutdown video on my p800. i have downloaded the popcorn.wav and the videos, and when i go in fileman and find one of these files, how do i select it? when i click on it, it goes to the actual file. And how do you paste a file into the sysdata file? Help would be much appriecieated(i no i can't spell..).

Don't select the actual file name, use the stylus to select the icon at the left hand side of the file name, this selects the file without opening it.

You may find these two posts helpful, the first is an older thread, but contains good advice; the second is a more recent thread. I never actually changed the startup and shutdown videos on my P800, when I had one, so I'm not the best person to advise you on this, however, the links below may be of some use.
I would recommend that in future you do a search before asking a question, it is somehting of a custom on Esato, plus it saves you having to wait for replies.

The Z: drive is a ROM drive, you can't delete anything from it.

you have to create a new folder on your c drive and call it "sysdata". put the files in there, and it will work, as long as the files have the correct properties.
