For english language readers:
Some Italian sites and magazines speak about the the technology used by Vodafone to optimize GPRS web connection, lowering the quality of the images of the visited sites.
Then Vodafone came out with an URL (10.128.254.29) whre is possible for each user set the desiderable quality using cookies.
Seems not that this site doesn't work anymore...
Did someone else used this service in the past? Opinions?
For italians:
Commenti?
Thanks in advance for any reply
To err is human. To really mess things up you need a computer

@ scotsboyuk & RekaH
This is not a joke, nor I pretend you trust me. Anyway, even seems that Vodafone supports doesn't know anything about it... I was wondering since Vodafone is directly operating in several countries if this technology has been applied elsewhere in the past. To my best knowledge this service was active since January 1st 2004
@ switchbitch
I think (and hope!) you do not understand the meaning of what you say. I don't want to be rude with you but I do not like (and tolerate)post like yours.

I trust you, only seems a joke (from Vodafone).
And about knowledge of operators... lol lol lol
Try to call operators on office time, in the evening calls are redirected to home workers who don't know anything about services.

My ltalian friend, you are taking this too seriously, we were just joshing. There is certainly no need to get on your high horse, l suggest you climb down before you do yourself an injury!
The lack of replies should indicate to you that it's likely no one who is willing to post has heard of what you are reffering to.
