Checked the search but didn't find anything useful. Does anyone else have this same problem? When using flipclose flush, this only works half the time. Anyone know a solution?

I noticed the same but found that even with SMan in autostart it doesn't always start, and I haven't found an explanation for that
however from my own testing, flipclose flush always works when SMan is actually running

Hi guys,
The autostart code in SMan will only run if it detects that the UIQ device has been on for less 10 seconds if I remember correctly. After that, it will not autostart any application. The reson for this is:
1. The autostart code (something called a recognizer by the symbian os) is installed on drive D: which explains why you need a memroy stick installed to install SMan.
2. People do insert/remove their memory sticks, don't want a series of applications running everytime you insert the memory stick in into your device.
3. The reson it's installed on the memory stick and not in drive C: is because, we are afraid that there may be a misbehaved application somewhere that would hang your UIQ device and you can't simply restart the phone coz it'll run everytime you do so. If it was on a memory stick, you could remove the memroy stick, restart the device and after 10 seconds put the memory stick back into the phone. You can then get SMan to remove the offending application from your startup list.
Hope this explains everything and cleasr up any confusion/questions.
