hi

i;ve serched this forum long and hard -but still connot find the answers i'm looking for - although if they are here please just point me in the right direction.

i have a t610 on contract with vodafone uk, and use wap etc over gsm (i dont use gprs at all - although it has been enabled) since i can use my free mins this way!

i want to be able to use the email in the messages menu. however - after setting everything up as per advised in several posts here - i still cannot connect. i just get the message "finding server" then couple of mins later - "failed to find server"

i have tried this with a variety of my email accounts, using ther server name and indeed the ip address of the mail server.

what is going on??? can i only connect to certain email servers with the vodafone dial-up settings or is there something i'm missing.
