Has anyone else has problems with accessing the Vodafone service. When I try to download MMS or use WAP or GPRS services i get the message invalid gateway or activation rejected. This only happened yesterday.

Good suggestion. Apparently they have no knowledge of any problems at the moment. They suggested I delete all of my current internet configurations as the P900 from time to time for no inexplicable reason can get "confused". Just been on the SE website to send the new settings for contract customers do I select Vodafone GPRS or Vodafone GPRS pre?

Interesting then the Vodafone issued a mail to carriers this morning then that users in certain areas will experience drops in service !! This is to try and resolve the problems that started yesterday afternoon

Just got the new settings. Interestingly there are now only a few accounts, maybe this is to simplify matters as i did think the old setup was a bit confusing. There are now only Vodafone GPRS, Vodafone GSM, Vodafone MMS GPRS. No more of the GPRS Wap, GPRS web etc. No WAP vodafone either.

Well it seems slower than before with the new settings, but that was using connecting with agile messenger. Havent tried opera or internal browser yet. Does it matter now I havent got the other settings, ie. GPRS Web, GPRS Wap? If I need these can some one repost the link to the thread that gives these details. Can't find them on the search for some reason.

While my GPRS connection to AGile messenger works, my MMS is still now working, can't download or send. Sounds like vodafone could be fobbing me off!

Best bet when u call any service provider is to ask to be put straight through to the technical department. they usually know what there talking about.
i spoke to an o2 tech dept person and they had a p800 & p900 to play/test on...
