My P900 speakers were broken and now I have to send it to Sony Ericsson only service center in North Carolina to get it repaired. Expected wait is 2 to 4 wks from the time they receive it.
Is there any where to "rent" a P900 'til I get my P900 back?
I thought of buying a Treo 600 GSM just to try it out then return it after 15 days or so, but GSM Treo's are not that popular. I could not find them anywhere.
Any suggestions?
BTW I'm in Pheonix Arizona.

sorry to say it buddy, but best bet is to just deal
i got my p900 stolen 2 months ago, just got it back with a broken screen about 4 weeks ago... took another 3 weeks to fix and just got it back last week. I had to deal the whole time, but now I have it and I love it 100 times more...

No man, that does not work for me. I'm going to need another phone while my P900 is in repaire. My P900 is my only phone. I do not have another cell phone or home phone. I need to rent one maybe. I don't know where that option is available.

If youve sent it off to somewhere called Celestica in the usa, you can certainly count on it being gone for at least a month, and when it comes back it will be either (a) repaired, but with a new fault, (b) an old, refurbished handset with more problems than your last one or (c) not repaired at all.

I think lately they use Solectron (www.solectron.com) but the support is the same. I have sent them one T68i and on P800 and got them back with the same diagnostic - Liquid Damage.
Of course none of them was never exposed to any water or any liquid, nad now I am fightinh that. Meanwhile, 3 weeks later, I use my old GSM phone. and I expect couple more weeks till it comes back. SE should really step up here and expedite the process and make it work. Really. We are paying a lot of money, and since it was bought on line, there is not carrier support, nor SE stores. I feel abused, left in the cold and somehow manipulated.

SE customer support in the UK is equally as crap. One rep. thought the hole on the back of the P900 was for hanging it on a hook!
