for videos i find smartmovie is the best by a long long way. gives alot better quality results than mp4. dont really play music on it that much but i think unreal player is meant to be good. i also heard that realnetworks have signed a partnership with sony sonyericsson so we should soon be able to play .rm.

well the new (2.2) unreal is good (for music) it doesn't have any problems with names and ogg's anymore and of course it can also play mp3's
but i find smartmovie the ideal sloution for videos.....

though if you only have ogg's the oggplay is also nice though it doesn't have a lot of skins... but still more than unreal

So there is no ONE app for all media like MS Media Player? what about Packet Video which comes as part of the PC suite?

Packet Video is a Video Player, so it only plays MP4 and 3GP Files. Now there is a new Video Player called Smartmovie that every body is saying it is very good.

It Plays XVID, DIVX, DX50, 3IVX and 3IV2
