i know i might seem like a disgrntled p8 user and/or a bit of a retard, but what does updating your firmware actually do??? and some ppl here say that you can update a p8's just you have to take it to an SE shop, is this true???
cheers.

A firmware upgrade removes bugs. You can get that upgrade at a SE servicecenter

don't be too worried about that, my P800 failed to update a couple of times last year but all the service centre did was restart the update and then it was fine
if you don't have the latest firmware its probably worth gettnig as it is also likely to be the last since there hasn't been an update for quite a while
