I have tried to sync p900 with laptop. I visited this site because sony ericsson support have been useless.
Initially when installing sw I like many others received the message "The connection to the sync station (hermes.mdb) did not install correctly.
Please create an ODBC connection to the database manually."
I have managed to install the PC suite after downloading MDAC_TYP.EXE from Microsoft. The problem that I now have is I receive the error message "Fatal Exception (thread 00003536) ACCESS VIOLATION"
I am using an IBM R40 laptop with XP Pro. Admin and user rights are asigned equally. I have disabled the modem card, removed all antivirus sw and programs on my machine are compatible with the P900. Any feedback to resolve this problem would be greatly appreciated.
