Hey
Recently I bought a 128mb card for my p900, I put some videos on it converted by Mpegable and they worked fine. I then read on my-symbian (spelling) that you can format the memory card and free up memory. I did the formatting trick and it worked. But when I tried to play movies it was slow.
I did a update on my phone, it did not help. I tried to update the firmware by saying the phone was not working at all (sonyericsson.com update service) that did not help either. I went and bought a new 128mb memory card and the problem is still there.
Old videos that I had converted with mpegable work fine, the new ones that Ive converted have the problem with lagging (has a ghost trail behind everything if it moves). Keep in mind its on the same computer, using the same exact settings on mpegable.
Does anyone have any ideas what I could do to possible fix this problem?
Is there anyway to forcefully clean the entire phone, and make it restore everything from day one... firmware etc?
Thanks

Do you have s/w running in the background? If you do, it'll be using precious resources... Use SMan, or similar, to close them.

Hey,
No, I have everything closed.... its weird because the old videos that Ive converted work fine but the ones I converted the other day lag.
Lastnight I also got SmartVideo... I tried it and it also was lagging/ghost
Is there anyway to FORMAT the phone so it goes back to day 1? Maybe its the firmware because the version I have now is R4A04 but when I goto sonyericsson.com to update and it tells me the latest update is R4A03.
Could the firmware be the problem? Is there away I can go back to R4A03 version?
